Hidden in the Rock

When God revealed Himself to Moses, God promised that His presence would go with His people despite their sin.  His presence was not based on the people's performance, but on God's pleasure with Moses, their mediator, and His faithfulness to the covenant He had made.  Like Israel, we need God's provision for the problem of our sin.  This study in Exodus 33 points us forward to Christ Jesus, our perfect mediator, who covers our sin and assures us of eternal rest.
