The Gospel to a Pharisee
Many of history’s most significant events can be traced back to a single turning point. The book of Acts gives the account of one such pivotal point in Church history: the conversion of Saul of Tarsus. Prior to Christ’s intervening appearance before him on the road to Damascus, Saul was driven by contempt as he violently persecuted followers of Christ. However, when Saul recognized Jesus as Lord, God was able to use him as an instrument for the Gospel. Like Saul, who became the Apostle Paul, each of us has a choice in how we respond to the truth of the Gospel, and this choice can be a turning point that changes everything.
