Rivera Family May 2017 Update
Edgar and Lety are very thankful for all the loving care and prayer support they receive from the members of Parkside Church which is such an encouragement to them in the ministry. They have three children: Ana Gracia (21), Juan Antonio (19) and Esther (9).
Edgar currently leads one ESI group in Oaxaca and plans to start another group this month nearby. With some improvement in the condition of his back he is also leading an ESI group aimed specifically at encouraging the indigenous pastors in Amoltepec whose first language is Mixteco. Edgar spends most weekdays at the MAF office with Mike Ross providing pastoral leadership for the Mexican ministry team.
Lety keeps busy as a wife and mother and also works in children’s ministry training teachers. They are in the process of starting a new church plant near their home. Ana is a senior studying nutrition at a state university in Pachuca. Juan is currently working full-time and finishing High School. Esther’s adoption is now complete and she is thriving as a fourth grader.
