James 2022 Mid-January Update
Hello from Bolivia -- we are thankful to God for your prayers for our ministry.
Please keep us in prayer especially during the next 4 months as we do extensive ministry travel. Next week we will be in Uruguay to visit three ESI groups, and spend a few days with our son Andrew and his family! I will preach at their church in Montevideo January 30. Then back in Bolivia, where our ILC Church plans to hold its annual family camp (unless Covid prevents us from doing this). Then to Cleveland March 3-31 to apply for visas to Africa for ministry in April.
April 2, Debbie and I fly to Dakar where we train Mauritanian church leaders. Then to Chad to train church planters. April 20-23 we meet 100 pastors and church leaders in Tanzania from East Africa, Nigeria and Liberia – training them to start Equipping Servants (ESI) groups in their countries. Then a week in Turkey with before flying to Cleveland. We will be in Cleveland most of the month of May doing house hunting, and would value your prayer for the Lord’s leading!
We are particularly thankful for the way God is expanding ESI around Latin America and Spain. Jose and Janeen Gutierrez from ESI Ecuador recently joined our team full time to expand ESI in Central America. ESI Peru is starting groups in British Guyana. ESI Columbia recently started 2 ESI groups in La Coruña, Spain. Please pray that the Lord will continue to help pastors and church leaders around the world to honor Christ by being true to God’s Word. Pray that they will study it, to understand it, to live it, and to teach it faithfully. Pray that as these men and women grow in Christ, they will experience the power of the gospel that transforms lives, marriages, families and churches.
