- Details: A new Equipping Servants (ESI) group started last month, and they reached their target of 15 participants. Please pray for the students as they begin to study the book of Romans in depth, that God would draw them closer to himself and equip them for future ministry. Over the course of the past months, God has brought several non-believers into their lives either informally or to their Sunday services. Please pray for the salvation of these people, and especially for the salvation of Hermes, Carolina, Diego, and Horacio. Please pray that God would continue to give them love, wisdom, and boldness as they seek to care for the people he has sent them. Burundi (Africa). Population: 10,318,041 Believers: 27.0%. The socio-political situation is one of cautious hope, due to the decades-old enmity between Tutsi and Hutu that boiled into a violent eruption claiming 300,000 lives in the 1990s. Pray for genuine respect and cooperation as these two peoples build Burundi’s future together. Due to the past violence and current poverty, leadership for the churches is in short supply.
