- Details: Praise God for a great Welcome Picnic held the end of August. Approximately 140 volunteers from various churches welcomed international students from six campuses in the Houston area. Pray that these new international students will be receptive to the gospel. Pray for believing student leaders as they begin to form new discovery Bible studies and invite their international friends. Pray that God would draw both believing and non-believing students to these Bible studies and that lives will be transformed by the Gospel. United States of America (North America). The moral decay in America points to the need for revival – not the slick mass evangelism and theatrics associated with the word, but true revival with conviction of sin, repentance and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. More often than not, the public face of Christianity turns people away from Jesus rather than drawing them to Him. The gospel is often little more than a self-help philosophy.
