Details: Andrew sends thanks for our prayers during the time he had the added responsibility of teaching an expository preaching class. Although it was difficult balancing that with their church planting responsibilities, he is thankful for each student and for the opportunity he had to encourage them to renew their commitment to preach the Word. They are thankful that God has brought several Uruguayan young people to the church. Pray for them as they invest time and develop more of a national team. They are planning a big outreach event on Sept. 27th. Pray for this event and for all who come. Please pray that God would continue to lead their church planting efforts, and give them grace, wisdom, and boldness to reach those without Christ. Isle of Man & Channel Islands (Europe). The Isle of Man has a long Christian tradition, but just as in the UK, nominalism is rife and non-religion is growing. Pray that the Church will continue to strive to bring people back into the fold and that the Isle of Man might see an awakening. Relative prosperity and an emphasis on material wealth have inevitably blunted the spiritual life of the (Channel) islands; pray for an awakening.
