Details: Chris and Leanne are so thankful for the arrival of the Christmas holiday season because the Japanese are very curious about this holiday. In a land where people believe there are many distant gods of stone who need to be appeased, it is wonderful to share how Jesus, who is God, took the form of a baby to come to earth and live with us. Pray they may find the answer to the longing of their hearts as Christians share how God desires to be with them, and that ultimately many Japanese would come to faith. Côte d’Ivoire (Africa). Knowledge and understanding of the Bible are low, partly as a result of rapid church growth, but also from a cultural lack of regular Bible teaching. This naturally affects the maturation and discipleship of believers and whole churches. Pray for a greater level of partnership in theological education.
