Details: Bobby and Julie thank God for providing close friends who came alongside them and helped finish needed updates on their house and deck, for providing a friend who is an experienced property manager, and for helping them move and deal with their belongings. A recent trip back to Minnesota has given them another chance to say goodbye to family and friends. As they have worked and connected with others these final days, they have found more prayer partners coming alongside them and encouraging them in their next steps. Pray that God’s Spirit will continue to help them and their children’s hearts as they undergo the stress of transition. Pray for them as they move on August 5 to Central Asia. Housing there is in high demand. Pray that God will provide housing near their teammates. Pray that after arriving in country, they will be able to transition to a work visa quickly and then to permanent residency. Slovakia (Europe). Population: 5,441,569 Believers: 1.2%. Slovakia is a nation in the midst of significant change. Economic reforms and EU membership both created as well as solved problems. Increasing wealth (for some) is accompanied by the new influences of materialism and moral relativism.
