Helping Your Child Navigate Worry, Stress, and Anxiety: As parents, we must be equipped to support our children in a world filled with stress, worry, and anxiety. At this seminar, we will learn about what is causing the “anxiety epidemic,” why some children have an “anxiety personality,” and how to walk alongside our kids through fears and worries. We will explore what Scripture says about worry and anxiety, and parents will learn tools to equip their children with more than “coping skills” by guiding them to the true Hope and Comforter.

Sarah Keene has been mentoring and counseling children and adolescents for over ten years. Sarah earned her BA in social work and her MEd in school counseling from Malone University, and she is a licensed social worker as well as a licensed professional school counselor. Sarah has worked as a case manager and counselor in the school setting for the past eight years, and she is currently serving as a school counselor at Lake Center Christian School in Hartville. Sarah specializes in helping young people manage stress and anxiety, and supporting children and adolescents through family changes and difficulties in school. She is passionate about helping young people reach their full potential in Christ by supporting them and their families in the midst of life’s challenges.
