High School Students
2018-2019 Small Group Registration
Location: Local Homes
Start Time: Thu 6, Sept. 2018, 10 p.m.
End Time: Fri 7, June 2019, midnight
Small Groups are designed to give high school students an opportunity to grow in their relationships with both Jesus and their peers. Together with an adult leader, students will explore the Bible and talk about how it applies to everyday life. Each group will have a slightly different feel, but all of them will include the following components:
- Bible study
- Discussion
- Prayer
- Relationship building
- Accountability
The groups will meet on the first Thursday of every month at a local home from September through June from 7-9pm. Groups are split according to gender and grade. Meeting locations are below.
Before registering, parents and students please talk through the following expectations:
- You must regularly attend Small Group
- Arrive on time
- Come prepared to participate
- Have your lesson completed
- Let your leader know when you can't attend
- Respect the house in which your group meets
The cost of the materials for small groups is $15, paid upon completion of registration. Materials will be provided at the first group meeting.
- Freshmen: This Changes Everything by Jaquelle Crowe
- Sophomores: Killjoys by Desiring God and Sex is not the Problem, Lust Is by Joshua Harris
- Juniors: Habits of Grace by David Mathis and Discipling by Mark Dever
- Seniors: Knowing God by J.I. Packer
Registration is required even if you were part of a group previously.
