Christ Community Chapel will host their sixth annual Remembrance & Hope Service on Sunday, December 5, at 3pm at 750 Streetsboro Street in Hudson.
Because the holidays can be a difficult reminder, this service is designed for those wishing to honor a loved one(s) who is no longer with us with the hope Christmas brings to us all. For some, it may be a recent passing; still for others, loss may have happened a long time ago. Yet for us all, it is our desire to remember your cherished loved one well-through music, hearing a testimony, and offering a lasting gift to you. This year, Ed and Peggy Gallek, from FOX 8 News-I-Team will be guest speakers, sharing God’s faithfulness through their grief both professionally and personally.
The service includes a special candle lighting ceremony when registrants will light a candle with a candleholder inscribed with your loved one’s name that you can keep as a lasting reminder of your loved one's life shining brightly.
The service is free and open to the public, along with free childcare, but registration is required by Nov. 28 to receive a candleholder. Walk-ins are welcome as well.
