    Three Avenues of Care Through Our Meals Ministry

    In any significant change of circumstances–welcoming a new baby, dealing with or recovering from an illness, or losing a loved one–the regular routines of life become disrupted. Parkside’s meal ministry seeks to provide practical care in these circumstances, offering extra support to families during new or difficult seasons of life. For volunteers, it provides a way to tangibly show others the love of Jesus and the care of the body of Christ.

    We are looking for additional team members for our Funeral, New Baby and Samaritan meal ministries!  If you can help, sign up online at parksidechurch.com/meals

     

  • General Instructions

    As a general guideline, please bring meals that are ready to serve.  For instance, cook rice and noodles so they only need to be warmed before serving.  Our goal is to limit a family’s work load, so if you can prevent any step in serving the meal, please do so!

  • Sample Dinner Meals

    These menus are meant as a guide to give you an idea what kind of meal you might bring.  We do not assign specific meals, but you may be asked what you intend to bring so that, when possible, we can avoid providing one family with several similar meals in a row.
