Humanity is fallen and innately rebellious. Thankfully, however, Jonah 3 reveals that the God of the Bible loves His people far too much to allow them to forfeit the blessings of obedience. Rebellion and disobedience evoke God's judgement, although if we would but repent, God is compassionate and forgiving. His love and our heart change covers a multitude of sins and grants us another chance.
