Old Testament Jews offered sacrifices day after day to remind them of sin and to focus their attention on God's promise that He would forgive. Alistair Begg explains that the promise was fulfilled in the Lord Jesus Christ, who offered Himself as an effective payment for sin. With confidence that Jesus has dealt with sin once and for all, we can draw near to Him in faith, hold fast to the promise of His presence, and encourage one another in hope.
