Ministries

Children’s Ministry

The Children’s Ministry includes children from birth through fifth grade. Our purpose is to come alongside parents to see unbelieving children become committed followers of Jesus Christ. Classes and activities are developed around this purpose.  On Sunday mornings children have the opportunity to participate in age appropriate classes at both our 9:30 and 11:00 hours. On Sunday evenings children age 4 through Grade 5 enjoy a time of singing at Kids Praise, preschool and kindergarten children learn from the Bible at Preschool Bible Kids, and elementary children explore a Christian Classic, all from 6-7 pm. Nursery care is provided during these morning and evening services.  Children are important to us here at Parkside Church-Green Campus where they learn God’s ways from God’s Word while they are taught and shown the love of Christ.

Student Ministry

The Middle School and High School ministries for the Green campus meet at 7:00 p.m. Jr. High Students meet in the student center for fun and fellowship followed by a time of teaching. The Student Center is the building located on the Northwest side of the Green Campus parking lot. Jr. High students are currently engaged in a study on the attributes of God called "One true God." High School students meet in the auditorium for a Bible Study called "Soul" that examines the basic teachings of the Christian faith. Please visit www.pksyouth.com for more information about the student ministry.

College & Career Ministry

The College & Career Ministry meets Sunday nights at 7:00 p.m in various homes. The focus is on Bible study, building relationships, prayer, and discussing current events throughout the world. Come and meet new people, be challenged to love Christ more, and be prepared to engage the culture around you.

Wednesday Evening

There will be men's and women's Bible studies at the church each week at 7:00 p.m. Each evening will include Bible teaching and group discussion as well as a time of fellowship. In our current spring semester, we are doing a study on the book of Genesis.

The story's beginning
"As we open up Genesis, we're not simply looking to increase our Bible knowledge; we want to see Jesus. We want this study to enlarge our understanings about who he is and what his gospel is all about. Usually we don't turn to the Old Testament to see Jesus. Instead, we turn to the Gospels in the New Testament. Yet Jesus said to the Jewish religious leaders at one point: "You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!" (John 5:39). The study is uniquely designed to help you to look into the wonder of the first book of the Old Testament--Genesis--and see how it prepares for and points to Christ." - Nancy Guthrie
