Seeing Our Vision Globally, Regionally, and Locally

Parkside Church’s vision for Building Into the Next Generation has been rooted in the importance of investing in Gospel relationships for Gospel growth with our church serving as a launching pad for global, regional, and local growth. As we continue to pray about our church family’s future, we are grateful for God’s guidance as He continues to provide us with opportunities for these relationships that reach far beyond our immediate geographical reach.

Partners Globally

Your prayers and giving have sustained and opened opportunities for our missionary partners around the globe. We are grateful for these encouraging relationships that extend throughout and beyond Cleveland, and we are also humbled by the additional opportunities that our radio program, Truth For Life, provides. It is only through your prayerful, faithful support that these Gospel relationships are sparked and nurtured.

Progress Regionally

Our campus in Green continues to move forward as we have invited two men, Steve Moroney and Tim Walker, to participate in an Elder internship program. We eagerly anticipate Green's progress toward independence and the eventual appointment of a senior pastor. Additionally, the launch of our church plant in Lake County is scheduled for this September. Pastor Scott Kennedy continues to lead the efforts through the weekly core team gatherings and the various logistics related to the launch. We are now prayerfully looking for future regional opportunities.

Potential Locally

One component to our vision for Building Into the Next Generation also included possible changes to the Bainbridge campus, including the construction of a new auditorium. At this time, and after much prayerful deliberation of the current financial figures, the Elders are inclined not to build a new auditorium. The challenges for that project would take us beyond our present level of capability and capacity, and would also introduce the prospect of borrowing money in order to complete the project. Our church has never extended itself by borrowing money and we resist the temptation to do so now. We are now looking to reconfigure our plans pertaining to our short-term plans for children and long-term potential of supporting ministry from the Bainbridge campus.

Prayers Continually

Through your prayers and support, our vision for Building Into the Next Generation continues to be reinforced by God’s guiding hand as we remain focused and devoted to the message of the Gospel. We are grateful to be in partnership with all of you and will continue to update you as God leads us.
