With Thanksgiving

For more than two decades, Parkside Church has partnered with Scranton Road Bible Church on the near west side of Cleveland to collect and deliver food to local area families in need. This partnership, known as The Thanksgiving Box Project, has evolved from its first year of collecting 25 bags of groceries to last year's collection and delivery of approximately 300 complete Thanksgiving meals.

How To Participate

This community involvement opportunity provides volunteers with several different ways to serve:

  • Collect the items necessary to create a dinner box (click here to see a complete list of items) and drop off your box in the storage room across the hall from Room 111 by this Sunday, November 14th. Frozen turkeys are provided by the church.

  • Drop a check in the offering plate to help pay for the cost of buying the turkeys.

  • Help load the boxes into the trucks on Saturday morning at 8:15 a.m., November 20th.

  • Join the church families from both Scranton Road Bible Church and Parkside from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Scranton Road Bible Church to distribute the meals to families in Cleveland. No need to call, just show up!
