The Trip
Our second team is leaving on Saturday for Oaxaca, Mexico, for 8 days. Oaxaca is a city in the southern tip of Mexico where our missionaries Mike and Joan Ross have been ministering with MAF. Our team will partner with Mike, Joan and a Mexican church planter/evangelist named Edgar Rivera, by offering different ranges of dental care that will open a door of opportunity to provide spiritual care for villagers in Amoltepec. Our hope and prayer is that long after our team has gone God will continue to work through Edgar’s ministry to see many come to know Christ and grow in Christ.
The Plan
The team will be worshipping our Lord in Mexico today. On Monday they’ll leave for the airport to fly to Amoltepec and that afternoon, as well as Tuesday and Wednesday they’ll be doing dental work in the villages. Thursday they’ll fly to Oaxaca and rest a bit. Then on Friday they’ll leave for the Prison Clinic to perform dental work there. They return on Sunday.
