What's so Radical about Womanhood?
When you hear that phrase, what comes to mind? Does it seem paradoxical to discuss radicalism in the same sentence as a topic that has been treated as the antithesis of radicalism in the past few decades?
Author Carolyn McCulley thinks these two words need to be put together and on November 6 through 8, she will be speaking at the Annual Women's Retreat to share with us why Radical Womanhood isn't a contradiction in terms.
A Time To Learn
As Carolyn teaches us from the Scriptures, we’ll consider this topic through topics such as “Men Aren’t the Problem,” “The Importance of Home,” “The Mommy Wars,” and “The Female Raunch Culture.” We will also have breakout sessions led by Parkside women on “Women in the Workplace” and “Women at Home.” These topics promise to be useful to all women, regardless of their season of life.
A Time to Relax
In addition to challenging Bible teaching, we’ll spend the weekend enjoying time together with friends old and new as we shop, hike, swim, or simply relax by the fireplace.
