Are you in your 20s or early 30s and looking for a way to be involved at Parkside? Whether you're married or single, :transit: may be a ministry that you want to check out?
What is Transit, you ask? Transit offers a smaller-scale, mid-week, contemporary worship event, in addition to small-group Bible studies and organized opportunities for service and Christian fellowship. We get our name from the dynamic time of transition typically experienced in one’s 20’s and early 30’s. Many of us find ourselves transitioning between school and careers, from city to city, or state to state and into (or out of) important relationships.
At Transit, you can expect to deepen your understanding of how God’s ancient words apply to your unwritten future, while developing relationships with fellow believers. You will be able to do this in a smaller group setting than you would encounter at a typical Parkside service, in the company of your peers.
You'll find us at the Loft most Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm.
Special Events
In addition to our regular large group meetings and small groups, Transit also hosts special events on a regular basis. On September 11 at 7:00pm, the Tom Edwards Band will be at the Loft for a concert. The cost is $5 at the door. Why don't you join us and see what Transit is all about.
