The annual Men’s Ministry Golf Classic will be held on Monday, October 5th at beautiful Aurora Golf Club. There will be a shotgun start at 9:00 AM with a steak dinner to follow. Awards will be given for lowest net team score, long drive, and pin shots. The format was changed this year to a morning start which will allow the players to finish up in a timely manner and get home to be with their families.
The cost of the event is $75 which includes the round of golf, cart, lunch, snacks, beverages, and prizes. Registration deadline is September 27th, or until the first 128 slots are filled. The on-site check-in process will begin at 8:00 AM.
So, why sign up?
1) If you like to golf, you will be treated to an outstanding round at a course that was a private country club until earlier this year.
2) The day also represents an opportunity to meet and/or connect with other men from Parkside for a fun filled day of sport and fellowship.
3) The outing also represents an outreach opportunity for friends and family who may not come to Parkside or any church. A member of the pastoral team or elder will give a short presentation on faith in Jesus Christ.
What if I don’t have a foursome?
Although many men sign up as a foursome, don’t worry if you don’t have one. You can sign up as a single or twosome and you will be matched up with other players to form a group.
