Looking for a little summer time reading? Here are five books for you to choose from that will make your summer a little bit better. Each selection is available at Books by the Park.

Great ExchangeThe Great Exchange: My Sin for His Righteousness,
by
Jerry Bridges

Clear and comprehensive, it leaves the reader in no doubt that this -great exchange- is not only the heart of biblical theology but also the pivotal event of human history.

Heroes, by Iain Murray

Murray’s latest offering encourages the reader to draw upon the lives of faithful men and women in the church from ages past, centering particularly on figures who are on the periphery of most Christian history volumes.

.

Unfashionable: Making a Difference in the World By Being Different,
by Tullian Tchividjian

Tullian persuasively argues that difference makers must be different. This book is an important and necessary reminder that Christians who strive to be relevant end up being redundant, while those who challenge our culture just may change the world.

Reason for GodThe Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism,
by Timothy
Keller,

A great apologetic work in the tradition of Lewis, the arguments Keller makes are compelling and reasonable and targeted pointedly at today's skeptics. A great introduction to the Gospel for believers and skeptics alike.

This Momentary Marriage: A Parable of Permanence,
by John Piper
Reflecting on forty years of matrimony, John Piper exalts the biblical meaning of marriage over its emotion, exhorting couples to keep their covenant for all the best reasons.
