New Ministry Profile: Playgroups 
What do you get when you put together a group of moms, a bunch of kids, and some toys? A playgroup! As moms of young children can tell you, their kids bring a lot of joy...and a lot of questions. The kids' energy can be contagious...and exhausting. As a way to encourage moms, create a social time for kids, and provide an opportunity for Gospel-centered conversations, we launched a playgroup ministry in January.
A number of casual playgroups have been created in communities around the Cleveland area. These informal groups meet at a time & place that's convenient to the members of the group. Moms are welcome to bring their neighbors and friends, even if they don't attend Parkside. While the kids play, the moms can interact--developing friendships, providing helpful tips on how to handle difficult situations with their children, and model the gospel through their lives to the non-Christians who attend. There's no set agenda, just a time of fun and fellowship for the moms and kids.
