Yurkovich February 2012 Prayer Requests

- Pray for the start-up of a new semester at the Logos Language Center. Pray for opportunities to deepen relationships with students. And pray for the gradual passing on of responsibilities as director of the center from Mike to Dave Staedtler, a missionary with TEAM.

- Pray for this time of transition for the International Church of Prague. It has been privileged to have 4 members on staff for the past few years who are supported missionaries. But two have left Prague in 2011, Mike & Cindy plan to leave this summer, and the senior pastor has recently announced that God is moving them on this summer as well. Pray for God to direct the next steps and provide the men that are needed to lead this valuable fellowship.

- Pray for Daniel Heczko, the Czech pastor of the new church plant that the Yurkoviches are part of. Having gone into remission from Leukemia, recent tests have revealed a resurgence of the cancer. Pray for God’s intervention in Daniel’s health, for his family, and for God to use this in the church community for His higher purposes.

Yurkovich January 2012 Prayer Requests

- Pray for their daughter Hannah as she begins a semester of study and internship in Geneva Switzerland for her degree program in International Studies. Pray for spiritual support for her and that she would be able to be a light in a dark place.

- Pray for Mike and Cindy as they travel to Macedonia January 20 – 24 to evaluate first-hand the possibility of returning there in the fall of 2012 to begin a new church plant in a city in Macedonia where no church exists. Pray for God to make clear His will in His time.

- Pray for Emilie Brown as she continues to be a valuable partner in ministry teaching at the Logos Language Center. Pray for significant conversations with Czech students, and for spiritually supportive friendships for Emilie in Prague.

Yurkovich December 2011 Prayer Requests

- Praise for a very good start to the new church plant. Pray that a core of believers would be united in their vision for reaching the community through this church, and that contacts with the lost would be effectively made. Pray for good teamwork and juggling of responsibilities as Mike preaches and leads worship as he is able.

- Pray for the various outreach events around the Holiday season through the International Church of Prague and the Logos Language Center.

- Pray for quality time connecting with Hannah and Rachel, as they are able to join the family in Prague over the holidays.
