Ross Family May 2013 News

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your prayers! We did have a busy but productive April.

Mike flew lots of safe flight hours. Mike flew a small group from our church here in Oaxaca into Amoltepec this morning to give out 130 pairs of shoes and sandals to school children. They plan to share one on one as they have the opportunity, and participate in worship services in two different churches Pray that these small gifts given in love will reap a harvest.

Ross Family May 2013 Prayer Requests

Please pray for quick solutions to a number of different paper work issues which could put our ability to continue serving isolated communities with the airplane at risk. Pray for wisdom to use the resources God has blessed us with in a way that will glorify Him.

Pray that several planned outreaches to the communities we serve will bear much fruit in encouraging the Christians and reaching the lost.

Ross Family April 2013 News

Dear Partners in the Gospel,

Greetings from Oaxaca. We are entering our hottest month of the year with low visibilities because of all the smoke. Bruce and Amos took one of our airplanes to Idaho for an engine change so Mike will be the only pilot flying here most of April.

Pray for the eight ESI groups that meet regularly in Mexico. Pray that each participant would be encouraged as they prioritize the study of God’s Word in their schedules. Pray that they will be able to apply what they learn as they minister in their local churches. Pray that the ESI graduates studying Hebrews will have flexibility in their schedules to meet regularly.

Ross February 2013 Prayer Update

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your faithful prayers. Joan had a good trip to Ohio to be with her mom after her successful surgery. Joan felt blessed to be with her while she started her recuperation.

Mike kept busy with some major engine maintenance and flying while Joan was gone. We are pleased to report that the maintenance was finished with no major surprises.

Ross January 2013 News

Dear Friends,

Happy New Year! We are so thankful for each one of you who faithfully prays and gives to support our ministry with MAF in Mexico.

We are thankful for a safe and productive 2012. We flew over 700 hours making more than 1400 landings with over 4600 passengers and 70,000 lbs. of cargo into some of the most challenging mountain airstrips MAF uses anywhere in the world.  We are also thankful for good health which enables us to continue to serve. We are both thankful for safe travels in December and a short visit with family.

Ross December 2012 News

Dear Friends,

Here it is December already and the Ross' are on the move again. Joan is spending two weeks in Cleveland so that she can attend Aaron's graduation from The University of Akron. She is also squeezing in some grandchildren time.

Mike is spending a few days in Cleveland on his way to Nampa. As we mentioned before, we are in the process of preparing a Cessna 182 for service in Mexico. Our mechanic, Amos, has been in Nampa since October and is working hard to get everything ready for the ferry flight.
