Dear Friends,
April has whizzed by and May appears to be filling up quickly. It was great to finish up a major inspection on one of our airplanes that had been down for six weeks and have both airplanes flying for most of the month of April.
Tomorrow our church is celebrating Children's Day (April 30th) with a carnival. We hope a number of unchurched families whose children participate in a Bible Club each Saturday will attend. Joan will be resonsible for taking pictures to document the event. Monday our regional manager will be arriving for his first visit in over a year. We are looking forward to visiting with him but these visits always present a challenge as we need to keep our airplanes flying too. Mike will be heading to the States for a long weekend to drive his parents and their motor home from Dallas to Cleveland. Please pray that everything will go smoothly and safely.
We would also appreciate prayers for the staff here as they minister daily to hurting people. Just yesterday one of our frequent customers called to have her 2 year old son flown from Amoltepec to a hospital in Oaxaca. Unfortunately he died before he could receive medical attention. We were able to spend time praying with the parents. Only the Good News of Jesus Christ can comfort the people we serve but most of them still cling to their tradional beliefs.
