The Ross Family

December Tidings from Mike and Joan

Dear Friends,

We safely arrived in Cleveland on Saturday, Dec. 4th and are busy getting adjusted to the U.S. and lots of snow. Thank you so much for your prayers during this time of transition.

We are happy to report that most of our airstrips have been reopened and Mike did lots of flights before we left. Please pray for Juan Carlos as he flies and manages the program all by himself. We would also appreciate your prayers for Bruce DeVries and his family as they finish up raising support and travel to Oaxaca.

Ross December 2010 Prayer Update

Please pray for Joan and Mike as they travel to Cleveland in early December to start a furlough. Pray that they would have special time with family and opportunities to renew relationships with friends. Pray for continued safety in our flight operations in Oaxaca and especially for Juan Carlos as he will be the only pilot for the next couple of months.

Praise that we now have permission to fly into seven out of nine of our airstrips.

Pray for the men and women involved with ESI in Oaxaca as they finish their second semester of study this month. Pray that they will have opportunities to apply what they have learned in their local churches. Pray that their marriages will be strengthened through the study of God's Word.

Thanks!

Mike & Joan

Ross November 2010 Update

Dear Friends,

October was a busy month. The dental team arrived with no problems and we were able to get special permission to fly them into one of our mountain communities. This year the pastor from our church here in Oaxaca accompanied the team as he is also a medical doctor.

Ross August 2010 Prayer Letter

News from Oaxaca August 2010

Dear Friends,

July has slipped by and we are already looking at a busy August. Our airstrips are still closed to regular flights. Mike, Edgar and the community leaders all met with an official from Mexico City on July 16. The biggest result of this meeting was blanket permission for emergency flights and Mike has done several of those. The Mexican official is meeting with his superior to see what arrangements can be made to help us out. They have simplified many of the paper work requirements. Most of the communities are making good progress in getting the documentation ready. Please keep praying for this situation.

Please pray for the 70 men and women who will finish their first ESI study module. Pray that they would be encouraged in their Christian walk through the study of God's Word.
