Dear Friends,
June looks like it will be a fun and busy month for us here in Oaxaca. Here's a brief update on what we have planned.
This week Mike is doing a 100 hour inspection on one of the airplanes. He is combining this with a biannual proficiency maintenance review for Amos, our Mexican mechanic.
Friday we will be driving ten hours to Tapachula, Chiapas (almost to the Guatemalan border) to participate in our pastor's wedding. Many of you will remember that Neri's wife died while we were on furlough almost 3 years ago. He has since met a lovely, Christian young woman and they will be married this Saturday. He has asked us to transport his girls to and from the wedding so we'd appreciate prayer for safety as we travel and sensitivity in dealing with 4 girls who are once again having their lives turned upside down.
June 8-17 Mike will be the only full time pilot as our fellow workers take a much deserved vacation.
June 20-27 we will be hosting a group of teenagers. They will spend several days in an isolated community southwest of Oaxaca as well as a couple of days here in the city. Please pray for health, safety and great attitudes as they minister God's love to those in need.
June 24th, Aaron will arrive for a week of vacation. He is excited about coming home and spending time with his friends here in Mexico.
Thank you for your prayers on our behalf.
