We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Parkside team tomorrow night. They will worship with us on Sunday morning which will be followed by some sightseeing to get a feel for Oaxaca. Monday morning they will fly to Amoltepec and drive to Mamey. They will be helping the church there with painting and carpentry projects. They should fly back to Oaxaca on Thursday. Friday they will be helping prepare materials for our church's VBS and Saturday (27th) they will return to Cleveland.
Aaron will arrive in the middle of the groups time here. He will leave July 2nd with his mother in tow.
Joan leaves Oaxaca on July 2nd to spend 6 weeks enjoying being a Nana. Our 4th grandchild is due any time and she is really looking forward to helping Ben, Andy & Alex welcome this new addition to their family. Opportunities to play with Hayley, Alex, & Abby are always high on her list of fun activities.
July 13 will mark the arrival of Kep James. He will spend a week here with Mike helping Mike to encourage Edgar Rivera and Neri (our pastor). He will also help Mike to plan the next series of pastoral studies for these guys.
July 20 - 24 is reserved for our churches VBS. I'm sure that Mike will be given something to do to help out.
July 30th Mike flies to the States to meet the new granddaughter.
I'm sure that July will include lots of flying and maintenance for Mike. These are just a few of the extras he'll be involved with.
