Pastoral Assistants - Bolivia

• Pray for Tomas Diaz as he works with 5 groups of ESI pastors in Loja, Ecuador. God is using the study of Romans to impact many lives and churches in southern Ecuador.

• Pray for Edwin Callejas as he and his wife Alicia and 3 children develop relationships with pastors starting ESI in Huánuco, Peru.

• Pray for our 13 Pastoral Assistants (PAs) with Kep in La Paz, that God will use the training in 2013 to help them learn to think and live and teach Biblically in order to reach the lost and build a Christ-honoring church in Bolivia and throughout Latin America.

• Pray for PAs Ramiro Sanjinez and Juan Cruz as they study 16 hours each week in 2 Corinthians, and are involved in a variety of ministry training in the ILC church. Both report that God is changing their way of thinking and doing ministry through this intensive process.

• Pray for PA Gumercindo Coronel’s health. His strength is building each day, but he still has a long way to go before he is fully recovered.

• Pray for Lucho Kama, that God will continue to use his life and ministry among the rural churches of Taca, and as he builds up church leaders in the Yungas region. He reports good growth in the Aymara communities where we are training pastors.

• Pray for Tomas Diaz, training two groups of ESI pastors in Loja, Ecuador, and planning to open 2 more groups in January. God is using the study of Romans to impact the lives of these participants.

• Pray for Javier Soliz (PA) that God will guide and give him wisdom as he trains pastors involved in 3 ESI groups in Santa Cruz and one in Cochabamba. Pray for wisdom as we consider sending Javier to Paraguay to open ESI Expansion in 2014.

• Pray for our 15 Pastoral Assistants (PA) in La Paz that God will use the training in 2012 to help them learn to think and live Biblically for a Christ-honoring church in Bolivia and throughout Latin America.

• Pray for PAs Ramiro Sanjinez, Mateo Cruz, and Juan Cruz as they continue studying 16 hours each week in Romans preparing messages through Romans, and are involved in a variety of ministry training in the ILC and IBM churches. Each reports that God is changing their way of thinking and doing ministry through this intensive process.

It was 2004 when I met pastor Edgar Mamani. Then a seminary professor, and aspiring president of his denomination, he was discouraged because of lack of fruit in his ministry and transformation in his life and family. Edgar was an excellent speaker, but his messages were pure entertainment filling the time telling his own experiences and ideas – but very weak in Biblical exposition.
