About Kathy Maenner

For Kathy, the spark of interest for areas around the world began at age 11 when her grandparents took her on a trip to Europe. This interest continued as she pursued a degree in business with a minor in international business.

While she was in college, God used a Christian group on campus both to train her and increase her desire for evangelism and discipleship. It was during this time she believed God was calling her to missions.

Having had many cross-cultural experiences and a number of years in youth ministry, whether at home or abroad, Kathy's heart is for young people. She desires to see them nurtured and challenged into becoming mature believers in Christ.

In Bolivia, over 50% of the population is less than 20 years old and is largely an "unreached" people group. Kathy will be helping the Bolivian church develop ministries to the youth all around them.
