Kathy Maenner

1) Thankful for a safe and uneventful return to Bolivia. I received a very warm welcome and many expressed how thankful they were to have me back and that I was truly missed during my time away.

2) Continue praying for decisions that need to be made, regarding how and where the Lord wants me to focus my time and energies.

I’ve just returned to Bolivia, after being out of the country for about 4 months. Pray for quality time as I reconnect with my friends and plug back into the ministries that I left behind. Pray for wisdom, as I add on working with the high school/college ministry and then need the Lord to show me, what He’d have me take off my already full plate.

Pray for Alejandra, as she attends the Discipleship Training Program with YWAM in Argentina. This is a prerequisite for participating in their Film Production School, which will follow in April, 2011.

1) Praising the Lord for the time I’ve had in the States. I’ve had good times with family, church family, friends and supporters. Prayer for the time remaining this month before returning on July 27th, including a special time with mom and dad.

1) Praise for successful foot surgery and prayer for continued recovery. We know we serve a faithful God and I’m so thankful for everyone who faithfully prays for me.

Parkside missionary Kathy Maenner has just returned from Bolivia and will be speaking about her ministry on Sunday, April 25, at 11:15 am in Fellowship Hall. Come welcome Kathy home and hear what God has been doing in La Paz.

1) Foot surgery scheduled for April 9th. Pray that all will go well and that the recovery will be quick, as I’m only back on home assignment a little less than 4 months.

1) Preparation for upcoming Home Assignment. I’ll be in the US from March 30th – July 27th. Pray that I’ll be able to leave those I work with in the various ministries equipped to take over my responsibilities and that the Lord would use this time in their development as leaders.

And we almost did too!  Let me explain…Over Easter weekend, I drove down to camp with Alejandra, Osvaldo, Caryl, and Gustavo.  After waiting about 1 ½ hours to go through the tollbooth, I decided there would be less traffic on the “death road”.
