Hello from Bolivia!

Thank you so much for praying for us and the work here. Things are moving ahead strongly with the training and equipping of pastors in Bolivia, Mexico, Ecuador -- and as we get off the ground in Huánuco, Peru. We have our ESI (Equipping Servants pastoral training) Module graduations June 16. Please pray that pastors and church leaders will grow deeper in their desire to love Christ with their whole heart -- with eyes fixed on Jesus and lives grounded firmly in God's Word.

People sometimes ask what a typical day looks like for us in Bolivia. Our May 2013 Update describes this. Thank you for praying for us and the work here in Bolivia, and as it expands around Latin America!

• Pray for Debbie and the team of committed women in the ILC church as they evangelize and disciple women in 2013.

• Pray for Sami and Heather working in the city of Santa Cruz in a Biblical counseling outreach to young people called Café Alfarero. They are seeing good fruit in evangelism and discipleship.

Hello from Bolivia!

Since we got back Bolivia a month ago there are so many good things God has been doing! This Update reports advancement in ESI (Equipping Servants pastoral training) in Ecuador and Peru. And you have to hear the amazing story of Miguel, a former Communist.

• Praise for the good start of ESI / PA ministry, and women’s ministry in La Paz.

• Pray for the ESI (Equipping Servants) participants throughout Bolivia, in Loja, Ecuador, in Oaxaca, Mexico and in Huánuco, Peru. Currently we have 700 active participants involved in weekly training, and 743 graduates since we started ESI in 2002. Please pray that churches will be transformed as pastors and church leaders learn to honor Christ by being true to His Word.

• Praise for us as we start 2013 ESI / PA ministry, and women’s ministry in Bolivia now that we are back in Bolivia.

• Pray for the ESI (Equipping Servants) participants throughout Bolivia, in Loja, Ecuador, and in Oaxaca, Mexico. Currently we have 697 active participants involved in weekly training, and 743 graduates since we started ESI in 2002. Please pray that churches will be transformed as pastors and church leaders learn to honor Christ by being true to His Word.

Hello from the USA.

We are getting ready to leave for Bolivia in less than two weeks. Our January Update looks at the future of ESI inLatin America, and what we are trusting God for in relation to that.

• Praise for a wonderful time at Parkside during the months of Nov/Dec.

• Pray for the ESI (Equipping Servants) participants throughout Bolivia, in Loja, Ecuador, and in Oaxaca, Mexico. Currently we have 638 active participants involved in weekly training, and 743 graduates since we started ESI in 2002. Please pray that churches will be transformed as pastors and church leaders learn to honor Christ by being true to His Word.

• We are thankful to be able to spend this time back at Parkside, for God’s gracious mercy allowing us to receive our dual citizenship status in Bolivia.

• Pray for the ESI (Equipping Servants) participants throughout Bolivia, in Loja, Ecuador, and in Oaxaca, Mexico. Currently we have 638 active participants involved in weekly training, and 650 graduates since we started ESI in 2002. Please pray that churches will be transformed as pastors and church leaders learn to honor Christ by being true to His Word.

Hello from the USA!

We have been in the States for several weeks visiting family and friends, and tomorrow we arrive in Cleveland, Ohio until after Christmas.

The Bolivian leadership team at the ILC Church in La Paz reports that things are going well and growing. The ESi (Equipping Servants pastoral training) groups in Bolivia, Ecuador and Mexico are moving forward. It was a tremendous encouragement for me being with so many of our ESI participants and graduates in Loja, Ecuador and then 3 States in Mexico (Chiapas, Hidalgo and Oaxaca) in September and October -- hearing reports of how pastors and church leaders are growing in their commitment to the sufficiency of Christ and His Word -- wanting to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures.
