The James Family

James' Family June 2010 Update

Our purpose is to honor Christ helping churches be true to His Scriptures "We proclaim Christ, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone complete in Christ" Col 1:28

ESI Expansion

We thank God for godly Bolivian pastors He is raising up through ESI (Equipping Servants) to encourage and equip other pastors to follow Christ according to His Word. The work in the Bolivian cities La Paz, Cochabamba, Oruro, Potosi is going well. The work in Oaxaca, Mexico has gotten off the ground -- the 70 participants report changes in the way they are thinking and serving. There is a huge need to strengthen the church in the city of Santa Cruz (Bolivia’s largest city of 2 million). We are preparing to launch the work of ESI in 5 new Latin American countries in the next 5 years. So please pray with us as we pray, plan, and continue training and equipping pastors.

PRAYER & PRAISE

• Pray for the 425 ESI pastors in Bolivia and Mexico that they will honor Christ by being true to the Scriptures.

• Pray that our 13 PAs (Pastoral Assistants) in Bolivia will grow strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, including pastors Pepe Rocha and Edgar Mamani who oversee the work in Bolivia, and pastors Edgar Rivera and Neri Rivera in Mexico. Pray that God will give us wisdom as we plan new ESI and PA centers in Bolivia for 2011.

• Pray for Heather & Sami’s wedding July 10, and for their plans to minister in Santa Cruz in a counseling ministry called “Café Alfarero”.

• Pray for Katie as she finishes up nursing school in August in Cleveland.

• Pray for Andrew and Angie’s work with Samaritan’s Purse in La Paz. They are seeing solid fruit in their work. Angie is due in November!!

• Praise for Debbie’s work with women in La Paz. Pray as she trains women in evangelism and discipleship, that there will be much fruit that remains.

Thank you for praying,

Kep & Debbie James
