“The message the church in Bolivia preaches and teaches has become so contaminated, and the example of many church leaders so impure, I believe God is raising up a new kind of pastor to help the church think and live Biblically, to help purify the church,” recent comments of a pastor involved in the ESI (Equipping Servants Internship) process in La Paz. Please pray for the 425 active participants in ESI across Bolivia and in southern Mexico, as they study God’s Word, that minds will be convinced and lives conformed to the truth and pattern of Jesus. Pray that this will impact the conviction and lifestyle of many church leaders, resulting in churches being turned up-side-down for Christ.

PRAYER NEEDS
• Pray for the ESI (Equipping Servants Internship) pastors, that they will honor Christ by being true to the Scriptures.
• Pray that our 13 PAs (Pastoral Assistants) will grow strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. Pray that God will give us wisdom as we consider how to help churches in other Latin American cities live true to Jesus by thinking and living Biblically.
• Pray for Pepe Rocha pastoring the ILC Church in La Paz, for Edgar Mamani pastoring the IBM Church in La Paz, and for PA (pastoral assistant) Mauro Anabe pastoring the Emanuel Church in El Alto.
• Our KIDS: Pray for Heather, engaged to Sami Ross; they plan to join a counseling ministry in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Katie finishes up nursing school in August in Cleveland, Ohio. Andrew and Angie work with Samaritan’s Purse in La Paz, and volunteer overseeing the ILC Church Junior High Sunday ministry. They report seeing good fruit in their work of evangelism and discipleship.
PRAISE
• Praise for the fruit Debbie is seeing in women’s ministry in Bolivia. Pray as she trains women in evangelism and discipleship, that they will see much fruit that remains.
Thank you for praying,
Kep & Debbie James
