ESI Mexico
We’ll be starting ESI (Equipping Servants internship) in Oaxaca, Mexico in January. Pastors Edgar and Neri will start 4 groups with 50 pastors. They spent 2 weeks with us in La Paz in November receiving training in how to start and lead ESI groups.
Our ESI team loved the time with these 2 godly leaders, and are confident that their ministry with pastors will help churches in southern Mexico achieve in the task God has given them to do. Pray with us for Edgar and Neri as they launch this important ministry in Oaxaca.
ESI Graduation
In December 135 ESI participants graduated from ESI. We are thankful to God as we see impact in churches as pastors and church leaders learn to honor Christ studying God’s Word, so they can think, lead their churches, and serve according to what God says.
PRAYER NEEDS
• Pray for the ESI (Equipping Servants Internship) pastoral training) process. In January 2010 we’ll have 400 participants in Bolivia and Oaxaca, Mexico. Pray that churches will be transformed as pastors and church leaders learn to honor Christ by being true to the Scriptures.
• Pray for the 200 participants attending Pastor Alistair Begg’s conference at ILC Church January 25-26. Alistair will teach on the topic of impacting lives through Biblical preaching and teaching.
• Pray for Pastor Pepe Rocha, as he and Kep give oversight to 8 PAs (Pastoral Assistants) in the ILC Church, and for Pastor Edgar Mamani and his 3 PAs in the IBM Church.
• Pray for our children: Heather is considering joining a counseling ministry in Santa Cruz; Katie finishes up nursing school in Cleveland, Ohio; Andrew and Angie work with Samaritan’s Purse in La Paz in a ministry of evangelism and discipleship
PRAISE
• Praise for the fruit Debbie is seeing in women’s ministry in Bolivia. Pray as she trains women in evangelism and discipleship, that they will see much fruit that remains.
Thank you for praying,
Kep & Debbie James
