Debbie - Womens' Ministry
Earlier this month Debbie traveled 7 hours by truck with a group of women to the remote region of Taca. Debbie took women’s ministry leaders through the book of Acts, studying what the Bible says about living in God’s grace by faith on the basis of God’s Word. Pray for these 70 women as they return to their villages, that they will walk with Christ, clearly understanding the Bible and living their faith. Many even church leaders in Bolivia trust in their own works-righteousness for their salvation — please pray for their salvation. Debbie will teach the same material to 400 women at the National Women’s Convention in the city of Cochabamba November 26-28.
PRAYER & PRAISE
* For ESI’s (Equipping Servants Internship) 300 weekly participants meeting in strategic centers around Bolivia. We plan to start ESI in Oaxaca, Mexico in January 2010. Pray that churches will be transformed as pastors and church leaders learn to think, live, & serve Biblically through this 2.5 year process.
* For strong and godly marriages among Bolivia’s church leaders.
* For Kep & Pepe’s 8 PAs (Pastoral Assistants) in the ILC Church: Edgar, Juan, Jacob, Lucho, Mache, Jose, Tomas & Mauro — & for Edgar (pastor of IBM Church) equipping 3 PAs (Javier, Freddy, Edwin). Pray for Erick, who will join our PA program in 2010 from Tarija.
* For the ILC Church effort to equip church leaders in Taca
* For Debbie’s work of evangelizing, encouraging & equipping women in the ILC Church.
* For Pepe Rocha, senior pastor of ILC Church, that God will grant him wisdom in his pastoral ministry.
* For Heather’s ministry as she teaches & counsels in La Paz.
* For Katie in her last year of nursing school in Cleveland.
* For Andrew & Angie as they make Christ known in La Paz.
