September Prayer & Praise from Kep & Debbie James

Hi from Bolivia.

This will be very short. Things here are beyond busy right now!  Thank you for praying for us and the work here.  Here are some of the main things that we are praying and thanking God for:

  1. We had an outstanding first pastors conference in La Paz last weekend with 80 pastors and their wives in attendance.  The weekend of Sept 11,12,13 we'll be in the Amazon with about 150 total participants, and then Sept 24,25.,26 in Cochabamba with about 100.
  2. Andrew has been given a job with Samaritan's Purse in La Paz, so he and Angie will be returning to Bolivia this Wednesday to live and work. His responsibilities will involve overseeing ministries of evangelism and discipleship.
  3. Katie has been delayed getting back to Cleveland to begin her 3rd semester of nursing training at Kent State. She had an emergency surgery to remove a cyst that was about to rupture. She is recuperating well, and is feeling much better today. Pray that she will be able to fly back later this week.
  4. God has been moving to open up ESI (Equipping Servants Internship) pastoral training and a PA ministry (Pastoral Assistants) in Oaxaca, Mexico.  Pray for the 2 Mexican pastors (Neri and Edgar) as they come to Bolivia for training in November, and that God will guide the selection process of those who should participate in ESI and PAs in Oaxaca.

Thank you for praying!!
