Embracing Family (Adoption)

Many families within the church are at various stages of the adoption process. Because adoption and orphan care have unique challenges, our vision is to provide support and networking opportunities for adoptive families to discuss issues unique to their situation with like-minded individuals. These discussions could be broad in scope as well as specific for parents in similar circumstances. Parents who are further along in the journey of raising adopted children will seek to provide valuable insight to those who are at earlier stages of the journey.

The Embracing Family adoption ministry will hold a workshop to provide guidance on creating a lifebook for your adopted child(ren). Please join us on Saturday, April 20th from 9:30a.m. - 11:00a.m. in room 226. We will explore how to communicate God’s love and plan for your children from the date of their birth to their adoption.

Embracing Family Luncheon

Both those who have been involved in the adoption process and those who are looking into it are invited to join us at a luncheon in the Fellowship Hall after the final morning worship service on Nov. 11.
