If your life has been affected by cancer, join us Sunday, May 5 for a time of encouragement and prayer. We will meet in Room 228 at 11:15 am.

The next Cancer Support care group meeting will be Sunday, April 7 at 11:15 am in Room 228.

Come join us for a time of prayer and encouragement and bring a friend.

The Cancer Support Group is holding a dinner on Friday, May 31 at 6:30 pm in the Commons at Parkside Church. Dr. James Church and Pastor Alistair Begg will speak.

The January meeting of the Cancer Support Group will be on the second Sunday of the month rather than the first Sunday. We will meet on Sunday, January 13, at 11:15 am in Room 228.

Katerina "KAT" Gorkavchuk, 27, of Medina, OH, was surrounded by her family when she went home to be with the Lord, after a long journey with cancer, on August 25, 2012. She was born in Lviv, Ukraine, on February 5, 1985. She came over to America at the age of five, with her family, and graduated from Highland High School in '02 and was also a proud alumnus from The Ohio State University.

Her life was an inspiration to those who knew her. Please take a few minutes to watch this video interview with Kat. It is a story about her faith in Christ as she journeyed the road of cancer, and it will challenge you to grow in your relationship with Him.   

Because of the Labor Day holiday, there will be no meeting on September 2. The next Cancer Support Group meeting will be Sunday, September 9, at 11:15am in Room 228.
