In the winter months, bad weather is certain.  If area schools are closed, we will be closed.  If you are unsure on any given week, you may call the church office, 440-543-1212.

Inflatables, pizza, and the company of other young families... is there a better way to spend your Saturday?  Join us for the Young Families Play Day on Saturday October 22nd from 4-7pm at the loft/warehouse.  Please RSVP to youngfamilies@parksidechurch.com so we have a count for pizza.

Parents Date Night, or PDN as it is affectionately referred to around the office, is making its appearance on the calendar once again.

Who?  PDN is a ministry to parents with children from birth-5th grade.

What?  PDN offers free childcare for parents to give them a night away from their parental duties to enjoy a “Date Night” dinner, movie, or quiet afternoon at home.  Our hope is that it will also give parents the opportunity to go on a double-date to build relationships with other couples for encouragement or evangelism by inviting friends, neighbors, or coworkers with kids to take advantage of childcare. Children will enjoy playtime on the inflatables, crafts, dinner*, and a movie.

When?  PDN will occur Saturday October 8th from 4-7pm.

Where?  PDN meets at the Loft/Warehouse located at 31200 Solon Rd. Solon OH 44139. 

How?  You must register your child(ren) by Wednesday October 5th in order for us to plan on enough volunteers to watch your child(ren).  Registration will be capped at 100 children due to safety codes at the facility.  Register by going to https://www.parksidechurch.com/news-events/event-registration/parents-date-night/.

*We will be providing pizza, apple slices, and juice for dinner.  Please pack a dinner for your child(ren) if you prefer they eat something else.

Play N Learn is returning for the fall with a few changes!

Play N Learn will now meet on Tuesday mornings at the loft (previously Wednesdays).  It also will follow a first and third Tuesday of the month schedule (previously every-other week).  The time will remain the same, 9:30am-11:30am, and it will continue to be a great time of interactive play with your little one(s).

Parents Date Night has undergone some changes!

Last January, Parkside Church started a ministry to couples with young children, providing childcare in hopes to encourage couples to spend time together, strengthening their marriage.  These nights were a success!  With over 80 children in each of the 6 nights we hosted Parents Date Night, we were blessed to see this ministry grow.

One hard factor though, was the time.  Getting off of work on a Friday, getting the kids ready, and it being a late night, provided some inconvenience for the parents.  So this fall, we have decided to capitalize on the time frame our Young Families Play Day uses and try Parents Date Night at the same time. 

On Saturday October 8th, we will have our first Parents Date Night of the fall, from 4-7pm.  Due to the holiday season, there will only be two PDNs in the fall, the second one will be on Saturday November 12th.

Registration will open three weeks before the event and will be capped at 100 kids in order to provide safe childcare.  Register now here.

Young Families Play Days have been scheduled for the fall! 

If you are a family with at least one child under 7 years old, you are invited to come to the Young Families Play Days on Saturday September 24th and Saturday October 22nd from 4-7pm.  We'll be at The Warehouse, a facility in Solon, with inflatables, a soft play area for younger children, and food to enjoy!

We will provide the main dish, please bring a side item to share.  There is no cost, but please RSVP to Rachel at rpeteya@parksidechurch.com.

Kids have some energy to run off?  Bring them to the Young Families* Play Day!  We'll have inflatables for the older kids and a soft play area for the toddlers and crawlers.  Our next Play Day will be Saturday June 4th from 4-7pm at the Warehouse in Solon.  We will provide a main dish and ask that you bring along a side dish. This month (May) we will be at Parkside Church for Parents Date Night.  Classroom assignments will be emailed upon registration close.
