Anyone age 50+ is invited to join in the fun on Friday, December 2, at 6:30pm in the Commons. We will enjoy a delicious catered meal followed by an informal time of Christmas caroling around the piano. Come with your favorite song requests!  Special music will be provided by Kim Lauritsen of the Cleveland Opera Chorus.

Cost is $10.00 per person, payable online or at the registration table outside Fellowship Hall on Sunday, November 13 or 20.

Please join us as we gather for an evening of informal hymn singing and fellowship on Friday evening, July 22 at 7 pm in the Commons.

This is your chance to “gather around the piano” and request your favorite hymns that have been meaningful to you throughout your walk with Christ.  We’ll provide the hymnbooks and musicians to lead YOU for this time of praise and fellowship. Come ready to sing with your list of hymn requests!

Desserts and beverages will be provided immediately following.

You are invited to a Pancake breakfast on Saturday, March 12, served to you free of charge by the Parkside Children’s Ministry. This is a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn to serve and to create relationships with the older generations in the church. The breakfast will be from 9:00-10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. Please RSVP to Renee at rpecek@parksidechurch.com  or 440-708-2113 by March 10.

Following the breakfast, there will be a chance for you to serve as well. We will put together Easter care packages to be sent to those serving in the military. Plan to stay and help if you can from 10:00am - Noon in Room 210.

Ewald Horwath, MD, is our speaker and will be presenting for us on successful aging and a bit more. Dr. Horwath is a member of Parkside Church and is Chair of the Dept. of Psychiatry at MetroHealth Medical Center.

We will have our first fellowship dinner on Friday, December 3, at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The dinner will be catered and will feature speaker B.K. Thompson addressing the topic of estate planning,“Putting Your House in Order From the Basement to the Attic.”

Sojourners, a new ministry for people age 50 years and older, will have a kick-off dinner in the Fellowship Hall on Friday, May 7, at 6:30 pm.
