On Saturday, May 15, we'll meet up at Camp Hi Canoe Livery in Hiram for a fun-filled and scenic trip down the Cuyahoga River. Pack a lunch to enjoy when the canoe trip is over. There is also a ball field, volleyball court, and tetherball area, so feel free to bring sports equipment along.
Plan to arrive no later than 10 am to sign in and pay. All participants must sign a waiver form. To speed up the process, download a waiver form (one form/person) and fill it out before arrival.
There are several trips available, but most dads choose the micro or short trip; up to two children may ride in the middle of the canoe (with two paying adults) and are only $1.50 each.
- Micro Trip (2 miles, approximately 1 hour): $12.75/person
- Short Trip (7 miles, approximately 2-4 hours): $14.75/person
Reminders:
- Don't forget to invite a friend and his dad to come along. This is a great bridge-building event.
- Pack a lunch.
- It is suggested you bring along extra clothes (naaahhh...we're SURE you won't go in the water! Paddle splashing? Now, that's a definite maybe!)
