On Saturday, October 17, 2009, we offered a children's ministry workshop called "Putting the Pieces Together." The goal of this workshop was to further equip those who serve in classrooms and small groups to be more effective in how they minister to children. Our workshop was divided into 3 key components:
- Memory Verses, Music & Motion: How to encourage children to memorize Scripture, led by Karen Port
- Creative and Age-Appropriate Bible Teaching: Preschool, led by Tracy Villers & Elementary, led by Kelly Coy
- Classroom Management Techniques: Preschool, led by Judy Knapp & Elementary, led by Lindsey Platek
