Children's Music Choir is geared for children ages 4-12, and we are always looking for new children who enjoy singing to join our group! We are learning praise songs, Scripture memory songs, and hymns in our rehearsals (2x/month), with the hope that we can offer praise and worship to the Lord Jesus and use our music in serving others.
Through our Nursing Home visits, our children's choir has the opportunity to sing praises with the residents and bring the love of Jesus through their smiles and songs. Our first nursing home visit is planned for October 18; another visit is planned for December. All visits take place on Sunday afternoons (usually at Anna Maria Nursing Home in Aurora). Children who would like to participate in the October 18 visit are asked to attend our rehearsal on Saturday, October 17 in order to practice the songs that we'll be singing the following day.
