Understanding the Essentials
Christianity Explained, an eight-week class that explores the fundamentals of the Christian faith, will begin on March 4. Christianity Explained focuses on the basic tenets of the Christian faith and offers a clear explanation of what the Bible teaches.
What to Expect
The course is taught by elders in teams of two, a few times a year. The session starts by introducing the books of the Bible, how they relate to one another, and how to study the Bible. It then continues with a systematic examination of God and His attributes, the person and work of Jesus Christ, the person of the Holy Spirit, and the topics of salvation, prayer, evangelism, and obedience. The last week is devoted to a question and answer period.
