Premarital Counseling

Getting Started with Pre-marital Counseling

  • Posted on Wed 3, March 2010

You are probably here because you have recently become engaged or are considering marriage.

Marriage is a relationship designed and ordained by God, and its significance is emphasized repeatedly in Scripture. It is important that the church take seriously its participation in a marriage, as well as its responsibility in preparation.

We have developed a philosophy of ministry to pre-marital couples which we believe is consistent with God's Word, and which reflects the high standard to which God will hold a man and woman as they commit themselves to marriage.

To begin the pre-marital counseling process at Parkside please follow these guidelines:

1. Read and understand the principles that we are committed to in the pre-marital process. Click here>

2. Look over the typical order and timeline of events that runs for about six-months after your application has been approved. Click here>

3. Fill out the initial inquiry form that is sent to the administrative assistant. Click here>

4. You will receive an email with a link to an online application or you may request a paper copy to be sent to you and mailed back.
