Biblical Counseling

At Parkside Church we realize and understand that life here on earth is oftentimes hard and difficult because of sin and suffering. We are committed to helping you understand the biblical process of change.

Paul tells the Corinthians, “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” Change is a process, not an event. If you are seeking counsel for life’s issues, Parkside’s Biblical Discipleship wants to walk that journey with you.

We desire to equip our people for the work of inter-personal ministry. To help achieve this objective, we offer two courses, "How People Change" and "Helping Others Change". The goal is simple- to help everyday people understand God’s plan for our lives, and to be an instrument of change in other’s lives.

The "How People Change" course gives people a practical theology of the change process, while "Helping Others Change" equips people with a practical theology for interpersonal ministry.
