James Family March 2017 Prayer & Praise
• Pray for the 850 active Equipping Servants Internship (ESI) participants in Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Uruguay. Pray for the 1625 total graduates since 2002. Pray that each pastor and church/ministry leader will grow in their desire to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures, thinking and living and serving Biblically, to strengthen the church around Latin America and to reach the lost with the gospel of Christ.
• Pray for the three ESI groups with 45 participants that recently started in Montevideo. Pray for the 3 new ESI groups that started in Bogota, as well as 3 new groups in Cajamarca, Peru. Pray for the 40 prospective ESI leaders in Temuco, Chile who expressed interest in starting ESI groups in July, and for Kep and his ESI Expansion team as they train these church leaders in a 4-day ESI Facilitator Training Course in June. Pray that we will be able to effectively help church leaders around Latin America study, teach and preach God’s Word to disciple believers and mobilize the church to reach the least-reached -- so that no one will live or die without hearing the Good News of Jesus.
• Pray for God’s supply for the 2000 ESI Pastor-Book-Sets needed between now and 2022 to start ESI in 5 new Latin American countries in the next 5 years in our effort to place these Book Sets in the hands of pastors and church leaders around Latin America – and then to train the trainers to effectively use these materials.
• Pray that ESI participants will grow in their love for Jesus with a growing commitment to live on the basis of Christ’s righteousness in obedience to God’s Word.
• Pray for pastor Tomas Diaz as he works with 5 groups of ESI pastors in Loja, Ecuador. God is using the study of Romans to impact many lives and churches in southern Ecuador.
• Pray for pastor Edwin Callejas as he works with 4 groups of ESI pastors in Huánuco, Peru.
• Pray for pastor Pepe Rocha that God will help him in his passion for Christ in his pastoral ministry in the ILC Church in La Paz, Bolivia.
• Pray for pastor Freddy Choque leading 2 ESI groups in the city of El Alto, Bolivia.
• Pray for Sami and Heather (children Ethan, Shae) developing a ministry of Biblical counseling in churches in La Paz.
• Pray for Katie working as a nurse at the Cleveland Clinic and serving God where she is.
• Pray for Andrew and Angie (children Nicole, Camille, Zack) as they make new friends and learn the culture of Uruguay that God would allow them to plant a strong gospel church in Montevideo.
